Soundproofing

No matter how comfortable your Defender is, if you can’t talk to your passengers or hear the radio you won’t enjoy the ride.

This means that the acoustics and soundproofing are a key consideration. Applying the correct level of soundproofing in specific areas along with locating components such as speakers and tweeters to maximise sound fidelity goes a long way towards overcoming the background road and mechanical noise.

Soundproofing the bulkhead and headlining, renewing the door cards and fitting new custom mats have a considerable effect.
