Vehicle Technician

We are looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join our great team. The successful applicant would be an experienced Vehicle Technician who is confident in carrying out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair. Strong motivation, organisation in a workshop environment and attention to detail are key. They must have a good understanding of modern vehicle electrics and diagnostic work. A passion for all things Land Rover and the outdoors would be an advantage.

The successful applicant must have:

  • Full UK driving licence with the ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
  • Must be over the age of 21 for business insurance purposes.
  • Have extensive knowledge of parts, tools and equipment needed for specific tasks and jobs.
  • Flexible working for the needs of the business.
  • Be able to work well under pressure.
  • Be motivated and work as a team to meet deadlines and be determined to deliver excellence consistently.
  • Good communication and able to deal with customers on a face-to-face basis when providing quotes and information of works carried out.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and spot imperfections.
  • The ability to multitask on more than one job if required.
  • Be able to follow processes and procedures.
  • Have the determination and drive to succeed.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the workshop and site grounds.
  • Enjoy coming to work and being part of a small team

Sales and Service Assistant

As a small, passionate team, we pride ourselves on delivering quality parts, vehicles, and service to customers across the UK. We handle both new and used parts sales, supported by our online webshop and eBay store.

    Role Overview:

  • We are currently looking to take on a suitable person in a part time role to assist with vehicle sales and service administration to support our busy workshop and sales departments. Strong IT skills and a background in the motor trade would be a must. The role may suit someone who lives locally, who is retired, or managing a young family as hours can be negotiated around school opening times or other commitments. It would be 5 days a week with client contact, fielding telephones and supporting front end staff. Salary will be subject to agreed contracted hours and level of ability. A well turned out confident reliable individual with strong communication skills would suit this role.

Tyre Fitter and Rustproofing Technician 

Nene Overland is the UK’s Land Rover and Defender specialist, working on servicing, restorations and conversions on some of the most sought-after vehicles in the country. We’re looking for a Tyre Fitter and Rustproofing Technician to join the workshop team — no prior experience needed, just a willingness to learn and the competence to pick things up properly.
 

What you’ll be doing:

•Vehicle underbody wash down with hi pressure cleaning kit. 
•Rust treatment and protection for all 4×4 and SUV models
•Tyre fitting, balancing and replacement
•Keeping the workshop and site grounds clean and tidy
 

What we’re looking for:

•No experience necessary — full training given
•Willing to learn and take instruction
•Reliable, hands-on, and happy working as part of a small team
•Full clean UK driving licence required
•Previous valeting, bodyshop experience would be an advantage 
 

What you get:

•Salary negotiable, subject to experience
•Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.30pm
