Extensive Structural Renewal & Galvanised Hardware

Our restoration process focused heavily on future-proofing the vehicle against rust. However, we carefully maintained its authentic post-war utility silhouette.

Re-Galvanised Steel Framework: We completely stripped the vehicle down to its bare bones. This allowed us to evaluate the structural integrity. We then re-galvanised all mild steel body framework and internal door frames to prevent corrosion permanently.
Replacement Galvanised Chassis Frame: We replaced the old structural underpinnings entirely. Our team fitted a premium, brand new replacement galvanised chassis. We professionally painted this heavy-duty frame black to achieve a highly clean, understated look.
Brand New Canvas Soft-Top Hood: A brand new, tight-fitting traditional canvas hood assembly beautifully protects the passenger compartment. This premium cover also features pristine clear viewing windows.

Fully Reconditioned Engine, Gearbox & Instrument Dash

Our mechanics comprehensively refreshed the mechanical heart and interior cockpit of this vintage 4x4. As a result, they look, feel, and operate just like they did when the vehicle first left Solihull.

Fully Rebuilt Engine & Transmission: We completely stripped down the historic petrol engine and the manual gearbox. We fully reconditioned them both with fresh seals, bearings, and internal hardware. Consequently, the drivetrain delivers smooth, dependable mechanical operation.
Refurbished Clocks & Dashboard Assembly: We fully restored the minimalist metal dashboard unit. This process included the professional cleaning, calibration, and cosmetic refurbishment of the original factory instrument clocks and switches.
Pristine Period-Correct Seating: The interior seating area features completely brand new, correctly styled heritage seat cushions. We also added matching backrests to ensure maximum comfort on classic road runs.
