The Nene Overland team is absolutely pleased to offer this truly exceptional Land Rover Series 2 1/4 Petrol Soft Top. This vehicle represents a magnificent example of a beautifully preserved, classic British motoring icon. We know this specific Land Rover intimately because our own master technicians extensively rebuilt the truck a few years back. Our comprehensive engineering process encompassed a full body strip, meticulous body panel refurbishment, and the installation of a brand-new galvanised chassis. Absolutely anything that was needed along the way was replaced or upgraded to ensure total mechanical excellence.

We are proudly marketing this vehicle on a commission basis on behalf of our local client. Since our major restoration work was completed, the current owner has kept the vehicle safely tucked away in dry storage. Consequently, the truck presents in flawless condition throughout and remains fully protected from the elements. Because it is securely stored off-site, we kindly ask that you make a prior appointment before visiting so we can arrange to have the vehicle on-site at our main showroom ready for your inspection.

Premium Galvanised Chassis Upgrade: The entire vehicle was rebuilt onto a premium galvanised steel chassis. Consequently, this crucial structural upgrade provides decades of rust resistance, permanently solving the biggest longevity issue associated with older models.
Full Body Strip & Refurbishment: Our build team stripped the vehicle down to its core components. Every single aluminum panel was carefully prepared, restored, and beautifully finished to a very high aesthetic standard.
Heavy-Duty Wolf Steel Wheels: The chassis rides on a set of ultra-rugged, authentic Land Rover Wolf heavy-duty steel wheels. These military-grade wheels add a fantastic, purposefully classic utility stance to the vehicle.
Premium BFGoodrich All-Terrain Tyres: The Wolf steel rims come wrapped in deep-tread, premium BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres. Therefore, the vehicle balances excellent vintage aesthetics with modern tyre technology for superior grip and safety.
Classic Canvas Soft Top Roof: The rear load bed and cabin sit under a traditional canvas soft top hood assembly. This classic configuration allows for effortless open-air summer driving, honouring original factory heritage layouts.
Uncompromising "No-Expense-Spared" Rebuild: During our workshop restoration process, absolutely every mechanical component—including brakes, fuel lines, suspension hardware, and electrical wiring—was renewed or refurbished as required.
