Originally based on a 1999 LR 90 2.5 litre TD5, with, of course, as you can appreciate, a huge amount of work to create such a unique, very special Defender. With a total strip and rebuild incorporating a galvanised chassis, all body cappings also being galvanised, a refurbished series 11 bulkhead adapted to work with the 90 body, a galvanised soft top frame and roll over protection, 7 seats to get you all down to the beach, finished in LR grassmere green with a sand canvas hood. It’s been stage 1 tuned with the exhaust centre box removed to give it the fun TD5 exhaust bark, which suits it so well, and not too loud and obtrusive.
