This is the Rivolve R53 V8 Sport Wagon, and it sits a long way ahead of anything else wearing a Defender badge. It starts life as an extremely rare LXV limited edition hard top in Santorini Black with a contrasting Corris Grey roof, then goes through our full R series V8 install programme to become a true six-seater built to the highest spec our individual Defender programme offers. Specification & Capability

The point of this build is breadth. It will hammer down a back road and then carry six people home in comfort, and very little else does both.

  • Powertrain: A 355 BHP petrol V8 driving through a silky six-speed manual, finished with a side-exit twin exhaust. This is the heart of our R53 specification.
  • TRACTIVE Suspension: Our comfort and fast-road semi-active package, with five driver-programmable settings controlled from a dash-mounted screen. Adjust pitch and dive, body roll, and ride firmness on the move, so the roughest lanes feel composed without losing the sharpness you want when you press on.
  • Braking: Our Rivolve 8-pot grooved and vented brake package, sized to match the performance rather than trail behind it.
  • Stance & Wheels: 20-inch sport alloys on fast-road Q tyres, sitting under our wide-track wheel arch kit for a proper purposeful footprint.
  • Six-Seat Conversion: Four inward-facing rear seats make it a genuine six-seater, over an anthracite teak waterproof rear floor.
  • Interior: Fully soundproofed cabin, Symphony sound system, MOMO sports steering wheel, panoramic side windows, and a heated front windscreen.
  • Exterior Detail: Black side runner steps, rear NAS tow-step bumper, and a Corris Grey smooth cover plate that ties the whole look together.

The donor vehicle also brings air conditioning, ABS with traction control, remote locking, and electric windows as standard.
