Nene celebrate 20 years in the Land Rover business!
In June 2008 the Nene team put on a great weekend for all at Nene Overland with customers old and new. The plan was simple; a casual laid back time for all.
Through Saturday people gathered and made camp at manor Farm, enjoyed some beautiful sunshine, a cold beer and catch up with all things Land Rover.
The day led nicely into what turned out to be a fantastic themed party with bucking camel, hog roast, lamb spit and Series 1 bar soaked by fabulous live music which rocked nearly 400 expeditioners well into the early hours of the next morning.
Sunday started somewhat slow with a convoy of 80 plus Land Rover’s heading to Tixover Quarry blessed with another fabulous days sunshine which gave all a great day in the famous Tixover dirt before all was wrapped up at around 4pm.
The weekend proved to be such a success that perhaps a 21st celebration on the weekend of June 20th and 21st 2009 is a must. A similar laid back concept with a twist is on the agenda so it has to be a date for your diary! See you there!
